In the Huis aan Huis paper of Leeuwarden of Wednesday April 27, there’s a beautiful, big article about the first shows of WetterKâld in Leeuwarden. However, a mistake has been made: the original first night on May 4th. is announced, although it was changed earlier. It was postponed to June 21st., on the longest day, flowing into the shortest night of the year. The breeding season might be disturbed in May, therefore this different, special day was chosen for the start of the event. The Leeuwarden editions do not take place in May but no sooner than June 21, 22 and 23. After this, WetterKâld travels on and stops in Drachten on July 1st. and in Burgum on July 2nd. WetterKâld travels on after the first dates in June in Leeuwarden: on July 1^st the event can be experienced in Drachten and on July 2^nd in Burgum. In both towns the harbour is the boarding area. Right after boarding, the musical, intriguing journey starts. From the harbour the audience is brought to the concert location. Next Friday, April 22nd., Reina Rodina will be the special guest in the radio programme Noardewyn of Omrop Fryslân. In the show she will be interviewed about her person, her music and of course WetterKâld. She also plays a set of songs, from which a few are part of her performance starting next June. The first WetterKâld shows, to take place in the Leeuwarden area, are postponed from May to June 2011.
